Whole House Two Tank Two Media Water Filter for Chloramines Plus. Good for 500,000 gallons!

This is a fabulous whole house water filter for chloramine removal, in addition to the full range of contaminants you might find on a municipal system. If you want fluoride removed, see this whole house filter combined with a kitchen fluoride filter.

This system uses 40 pounds of KDF 85 COPPER-ZINC material AND 30 pounds of catalytic carbon. This is the kdf that works better on chloramines and the carbon that works best on chloramines and its organic byproducts.

These filters will will virtually eliminate chloramine and remove hundreds of contaminants including lead, heavy metals, chromium, asbestos, iron, arsenic, hydrogen sulfide and hard scale leaving great tasting natural water. Kdf filters chemically-based contaminants, which includes chemically-based drugs. Carbon filters organically-based contaminants which includes hormones.

Installation results in clean water for drinking, cooking, bathing, washing and gardening. Plumbing and applicances are protected from staining, corrosion and scale, adding life to your household appliances. This filter does not specifically target fluoride, although it will reduce it somewhat.

An automatic backwashing head IS INCLUDED.
