This shower filter targets Chloramines.

LEARN IF YOUR MUNICIPALITY USES CHLORINE OR CHLORAMINE - AND GET THE RIGHT FILTER. If they use both, as a few do, get this - the Chloramines filter. 

Your municipal water supply has either chlorine or chloramines. Know which is in your water before you buy one. The housings are the same, the filter disks are different.

This version is for if your municipality adds ammonia changing chlorine to chloramines. If you don't know, just ask them.

PLEASE NOTE THAT TESTS USING COLOR STRIPS AT HOME WILL NOT SHOW RESULTS. PLEASE GET YOUR WATER FILTERED BY THESE FILTERS TESTED AT A QUALIFIED LAB. Tell them that your filter contains kdf; that way you can get actual results. They must have a color spectrometer in order to accurately test chloramine removal by the filter media kdf.

WHAT IS FILTERED

These filters can't take out all the chloramine.  However, the majority of chloramines are removed. This also means that those chloramines can't release into the air as fumes to be absorbed through your skin.

This top-quality shower filter also reduces lead, copper, mercury and other heavy metals and odors from your bath water. Your shower will stay cleaner longer because lime scale, mold and mildew deposits are reduced.

HOW DO THEY WORK?

Will do more and last longer than regular kdf 85 will do. This shower filter uses that form of kdf which is most effective on chloramines. Using a patented process, the kdf is powdered and shaped into what looks like a woven hockey puck. This greatly increases the contact time between the water and filter material, which is how filtration happens. More contact time - more and longer-lasting filtration - less chloramine!

Water flow rate is excellent.
