This is the 1-micron sediment filter cartridge filters. The standard is the 25-micron. This one is for very fine particulate filtration in the UC-2K or CT-2K water filter units, or a 3-canister unit including an extra sediment filter, like the undercounter or countertop 3 canister Fluoride or 3 canister Nitrate (NOT for the 2-canister fluoride plus systems.)

This is very fine sediment filtration that could slow your water flow, or require more frequent changes of this filter.
