This refrigerator filter does more than the only carbon filters. In combination with kdf, bacteria can't live in the carbon (which it otherwise can). Kdf filters also prevent hard scale buildup protecting your fridge. Also removes chlorine, sediment, algae, molds, bad taste, odors and hundreds of contaminants.
Filters up to 1,500 gallons of water.
Uses the great combination of the best quality copper-zinc kdf and granulated coconut shell carbon, for the best-of-all-worlds filtering. Carbon lasts much longer in combination with kdf, and the water is more natural with trace elements remaining in your drinking water. Change once a year.
