For a natural clean clear pool without chemicals! This is for pools up to 30,000 gallons. Removes the need for chlorine that irritates eyes, noses, lungs and skin and makes hair dry and brittle.

Releases very very low residual copper and zinc ions to prevent algae and fungus. Water twists and turns through the power disks made of copper-zinc fibers, increasing contact time. The disks can't be compacted and water channeling doesn't occur, as with carbon filters. No backwashing is needed. This filter cleans your water of chemicals and contaminants. It works best with a sand or other sediment filter in place.
The disks regulate pH normally between 7.6 and 8 and occasionally from 7.4 to 8.2. Chemicals intended to control pH severely reduce the disk's efficiency - so stop using those too! Most pH parameters for pools and spas are based on using chlorine and are not relevant when the disk is used.
The disks soften water. They do not do this by removing calcium, they make the water feel and act softer by changing calcium's cellular structure so it cannot adhere to a surface. The calcium does not deposit scale on surfaces.
Uses 16 disks, to be replaced from 12-24 months, depending on usage.
