This 3-canister fluoride water filter is designed to take out CHLORAMINES in addition to FLUORIDE and all the other things you want to remove from your municipal water supply. This combination is right for you if your municipality adds both fluoride and ammonia - which when combined with chlorine forms chloramines. The amount of material included to remove fluoride has been shown to eliminated it at from 90 to 99.9% in normal circumstances, and some 85% of chloramines.
One canister has a sediment filter and material that has been proven to remove fluoride. Another canister has a sediment filter and kdf formulated to remove chloramines. The third canister has two sediment filters plus kdf which removes chemical contaminants including free chlorine, chlorination by-products, lead, heavy metals and more, and a full pound of top-quality granulated coconut carbon for organic compounds including organic-based drugs, perchlorate. mtbe and hormones - and which also further reduces the chloramines. (The pictures of the 3 inside canisters isn't quite perfect - one of them, the chloramine cartridge - looks a bit different.)
Why are our filters different from others? Better quality fixtures and filter material and most importantly - much more filter material! (Which determines how much is filtered and how long the canisters last.)

This filter combines the filter materials shown to take out several hundred contaminants including chlorine, chlorination by-products, perchlorate, mtbe, heavy metals like lead, sediment, algae, molds, hormones, scale, bad taste, odors, chemical-based drugs and organic-based drugs like hormones. Bacteria cannot grow in the carbon because of copper-zinc.
Includes a faucet that runs through the opening in your sink.
